Cane toad (Bufo marinus). This toad is native to South America, although it has also been introduced in Australia and elsewhere as a form of pest control, where it has itself become a pest. Its warty skin contains a deadly poison that it can squirt if provoked. At low doses the poison produces hallucinogenic effects.
