Cervical wart. Light micrograph of a section through a condyloma, an abnormal wart-like growth, on the cervix (neck of the uterus). Condylomas can be caused by viruses (such as human papilloma virus) or bacterial infections like syphilis. They are normally found on the skin around the urogenital region, and can be sexually transmitted.
