A Sukhoi Su-7 ground attack fighter deploying brake parachutes on landing. The Su-7 (NATO reporting name 'Fitter') is a single seat, singe engined supersonic jet flown by the Soviet Union from 1959 to 1986. This version is the Su-7BKL, designed for use on shorter runways. 1,847 Su-7s in its many variants were built with many sold to countries around the Middle East and Europe. Photographed in 1967.
