Hadrosaur. A reconstructed skeleton of a hadrosaur, possibly of the genus Mandschurosaurus, on display in a museum. The hadrosaurs were duck-billed dinosaurs that flourished in the late Cretaceous Period of 80-65 million years ago. Parts of this skeleton were discovered in 1914 in the far east of Russia. The reconstruction, and indeed the identification as a genus, have been the subject of much controversy. Photographed at the Institute of Geology and Nature Management of the Russian Academy of Science at Blagoveshchensk, Russia.
