Light micrograph (LM) of the fungal organism Acremonium falciforme, showing ultrastructural morphology exhibited by these multiseptate, unbranched conidiophores. Each is topped by a cluster of curved conidia. A. falciforme is a causitive agent of the disease eumycotic mycetoma, or simply eumycetoma, in humans.
