A twelve sided Snowflake with a stellar (or dendritic) crystal form. Snowflakes are formed in clouds when water freezes at negative fifteen degrees Celsius. When crystallization occurs slowly, in calm air and in temperatures near the freezing point, snowflakes will exhibit hexagonal symmetry.
