Rhomaleosaurus cramptoni pliosaur, fossil bones. Known as the Kettleness specimen, this close-up shows a section of the bones in the rear flipper of this marine reptile. It lived between 187 and 178 million years ago during the lower Jurassic. This specimen is part of the collections held at the Natural History Museum, London, UK.
