Australian pelicans on water. The Australian pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) inhabits inland and coastal waters in Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and Fiji. It can reach 1.8 metres in length with a wingspan of up to 2.5 metres. It feeds almost exclusively on fish. Photographed in New South Wales, Australia.
