Neolithic burial from the Diros cave complex in the Mani region of the Greek Peloponnese. These caves were inhabited during the late Neolithic period (ca. Intact burials such as this from the Neolithic period are extremely rare. The entrance to this, the Alepotrypa cave, was closed and sealed by a prehistoric earthquake and was only discovered in 1958, although the main cave complex of Pyrgos Dirou was discovered in 1895.
