Wind tunnel turbine blades. These turbine blades are used to generate the flow of air through a wind tunnel. Monitoring the aerodynamics of this air flow over the object being tested will help improve the object's design. This is one of the wind tunnels at the University of Southampton, UK. These wind tunnels have been used in the design of Formula One racing cars, Olympic bobsleighs, Olympic cycles, and America's Cup yachts. They are also used by engineering students.
