Caption

Nanobot modifying DNA. Artwork of a nanobot attached to and modifying strands of DNA (yellow, deoxyribonucleic acid). This is a depiction of a self-assembled nanobot composed of biological components (proteins) and mounted on an origami framework. Nanobots are microscopically small probes that would have a range of applications if successfully developed. Such applications include being used to target cancer cells, or deliver treatments to certain types of cell.
