Magellanic Clouds over cliffs. The Magellanic Clouds are two nearby dwarf galaxies visible from the southern hemisphere. At upper centre is the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC). At lower right is the Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Photographed in August at the reservoir formed by the El Chocon Dam on the Limay River, Argentina.
