Roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) fawn eating leaves, before walking away through vegetation. Roe deer are found throughout Europe, generally inhabiting woodland, where they feed on young leaves and grasses. Fawns are born in spring, and spend their first months hiding in thick vegetation, before joining the rest of the herd.
