Caption

Urine test. Dipstick being placed in a sample of dark urine from a patient with jaundice. The urine colour is due to an excess of bilirubin, a bile pigment which also imparts a yellow colour to the skin and whites of the eyes. The jaundice is caused by metastatic stomach cancer.
