Urine test. Dipstick that has been placed in a sample of dark urine from a patient with jaundice. There is an excess of bilirubin, a bile pigment which imparts a yellow colour to the skin and whites of the eyes, in the urine. The jaundice is caused by metastatic stomach cancer.
