Inverted papilloma of the bladder. Light micrograph of a section through the wall of a bladder with an inverted papilloma, a benign (non-cancerous) tumour where surface epithelial cells grow inwards. This tumour may cause blood in the urine (haematuria). Rarely, it can become malignant (cancerous). Magnification: x150 when printed at 10 centimetres wide. Human tissue.
