Caption

Brain tumour site. 3D diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) MRI scan of a brain showing the site of an infiltrative brain tumour (red). The pink area is functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) activation due to movement of a foot. The associated cerebrospinal tracts (CST) are shown as blue and green lines. DTI is a technique that maps nerve pathways by looking at the direction of water diffusion in brain tissue. For the components of this clip labelled, see K003/9469.
