Caption

Brain tumour site. 3D diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) MRI scan of a brain showing the site of an infiltrative brain tumour (red). The brain tumour site appears only at the start of the clip. The rest of the clip shows functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) activation due to movement of a foot, and the associated cerebrospinal tracts (CST, blue and green lines). DTI is a technique that maps nerve pathways by looking at the direction of water diffusion in brain tissue. For the components of this clip in the same scan, see K003/9468.
