Glatton meteorite discovery. Arthur Pettifor holding the meteorite that fell to Earth in his back garden in the village of Glatton, Cambridgeshire, UK, at 11:30 on Sunday 5 May 1991. It was later purchased by the Natural History Museum, London, UK, and classified as an L6 chondrite. Its dimensions are 10 by 6 by 6 centimetres, and it weighs 767 grams. As of 2012, it was the last verified observation of a meteorite fall in the UK.
