Caption

Spiralling school of bigeye trevally (Caranx sexfasciatus) silhouetted against the sun. During the day these fish form large, slow-moving schools like this, which break up at night as the fish start to hunt. The bigeye trevally is a fast-swimming predator that feeds mainly on smaller fish, crustaceans and cephalopods. Filmed in Palau, Micronesia.
