Lettuce aphid (Nasonovia ribisnigri) on a plant. This pest (about 1 to 3 millimetres long) feeds on a range of plants, including blackcurrants and gooseberries. From 1998, it spread to infest lettuce crops in California and Arizona, USA. Photographed in the USA.
