Abrahams is the editor-in-chief and founder of the humorous scientific journal 'Annals of Improbable Research' (founded 1995). In 1991, Abrahams founded the satirical Ig Nobel prize, awarded annually at Harvard. The Ig Nobel Prizes are awarded to those whose discoveries may appear odd, funny or absurd. Photographed in 2012.
