Early human, Stone Age culture. This reconstruction is based on prehistoric remains excavated between 1987 and 1992 near Balloy, Seine-et-Marne, northern France. The model shows a man from the Cerny culture that dates from the Neolithic. This specific burial (number 7) dates from around 4700 to 4300 BC. The skeleton indicated a man about 1.60 metres tall, aged 30 to 40 years. Reconstruction by Elisabeth Daynes of the Daynes Studio, Paris, France.
