Underground cavern holding the LHC beauty, or LHCb, experiment of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, near Geneva. Much of the work on this experiment is directed to the study of anti-particles. The large magnet is behind the superstructure to the right of the image and the three units of the main particle tracker are the red units toward the centre. The Ring Imaging Cherenkov detector RICH2 is on the left of the trackers and the calorimeters to the left of that.
