The name of the disease comes from the characteristic wolf mask effect on the face. The symptoms are high temperature, fatigue, depression, red patches in the shape of a wolf's mask, breathing difficulties, arrhythmia, heart failure, swelling of the kidneys, sensitivity to the sun, muscle pain, swelling of the joints.
