Draining pus from an infected sebaceous cyst on the back of a 54 year old man. A sebaceous cyst is a sac-like swelling under the skin filled with sebum, the oily product of the skin's sebaceous glands. A cyst occurs when a gland becomes blocked, and in this case it has become infected with bacteria, producing a build-up of pus (yellow fluid). Treatment is incision and drainage with a course of antibiotic drugs.
