Caption

Cardiomegaly. Coloured computed tomography (CT) scan of an axial section (from above) through the chest of a patient with cardiomegaly (enlarged heart, top right). This is due to pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the pulmonary artery). This is a dangerous condition as it damages the right side of the heart and can lead to heart failure.
