The Dulong, also known as Drung or Derong were called Qiu in the past. The Dulong ethnic minority is the smallest ethnic group in Yunnan Province, China. Only the women tattooed their faces but the custom was abolished after the People's Republic of China (PRC) was founded in 1949. In 2013 only 28 tattooed women remained alive.
