The cancerous cells have enlarged nuclei (dark purple). Endometrial adenocarcinoma is the most common cancer of the uterus, which usually occurs in post-menopausal women. Tumour cells can spread rapidly. Treatment may include surgery and use of anticancer drugs. Papanicolaou stained cells. Magnification: x1150 when printed 10cm wide.
