Bluespotted ribbon ray (Taeniura lymma) swimming on the seabed. This ray is found in the Indo-West Pacific region and feeds on molluscs, worms, shrimps, and crabs. It detects its prey under the sand by detecting emitted electrical impulses. It grows to a maximum length of around 70 centimetres. Photographed on Egypt's Red Sea coast.
