Coral grouper (Cephalopholis miniata), also called the coral cod. This fish is found down to depths of over 150 metres. It is a hunter, feeding mainly on small schooling fish and occasionally taking crustaceans. This fish inhabits reefs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region. It can reach lengths of over 40 centimetres. Photographed on Egypt's Red Sea coast.
