Schwannoma. Light micrograph (LM) of a section of a plexiform schwannoma of the thigh. Plexiform schwannoma is a rare variant of Schwann cell tumor. It shows a plexiform growth pattern and typically occurs in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. A benign neoplasm with no malignant potential. Magnification: x 150 when printed at 10 centimetres wide. Human tissue.
