Stonefish (Synanceia verrucosa). This is one of the world's most venomous fish. The sting from its spines can be lethal to humans. This individual, having just shed its cuticle, is vivid pink, red and purple, resembling a coralline algae encrusted rock. Photographed in the Red Sea off the coast of Egypt.
