Disused concentrating solar power plant. This 1.5 megawatt solar plant, which opened in 2010, had 60 heliostats (mirrors with sun-tracking motion). These reflected sunlight and concentrated it onto a small engine that used the energy to make electricity. Both the company that made the heliostats and the company that ran the site went bankrupt soon after the plant opened. Photographed in Peoria, Arizona, USA.
