Alpine chough (Pyrrhocorax graculus). This crow-like bird lives and breeds at high altitudes, around 1300 to 2880 metres in Europe. It feeds on invertebrates in the summer and fruit during the rest of the year. It is also found in the Atlas Mountains and the Himalayas. Photographed in the Dolomite mountains, Italy, in winter.
