Caucasus beetle (Chalcosoma caucasus) head. This scarab beetle feeds on rotting vegetation. It inhabits tropical forests in Southeast Asia. Only males grow the enormous horns, which they use for fighting other males. Males can grow up to 12 centimetres in length.
