Conglomerate rock with many different rock components. This specimen is from 'Hoherer Deckenschotter', the name for a sediment that was deposited during the last but one ice age. The rounded components indicate the presence of fluvial transport in front of large piedmont glaciers north of the Alps. This specimen is from the Swiss plateau.
