Spiral galaxy NGC 4725, composite image. This ring galaxy (circular in appearance) is located 41 million light years from Earth, in the constellation Coma Berenices. The yellow core contains old stars, while the spiral arms are a site of stellar formation. The spiral galaxy in the lower right of the image is about 200 million light-years away. Image data from 8.2 Meter Subaru Telescope (NAOJ) and the Hubble Space Telescope.
