V1318 Cygni star cluster, composite image. Star-forming clusters such as this often include one or more massive stars accompanied by a large number of lower mass stars and protostars. The region of V1318 Cygni is a strong infrared source within a young cluster. It is located about 3800 light-years away in the constellation of Cygnus.
