Marshmallows are placed in a vacuum chamber and the air is removed. As the air is removed the pressure drops causing the air trapped in the marshmallows to expand. The trapped air expands to many times the original volume and the marshmallows grow in size. Part of a series of images taken at different vacuum pressures. Image 1 of 5.
