Kneipp hydrotherapy consultation, 19th-century artwork. German priest and abbot Sebastian Kneipp (1821-1897, centre), assisted by other monks, is providing a consultation for a patient at his treatment centre in his home town of Bad Worishofen, Bavaria, Germany. Kneipp promoted a form of hydrotherapy known as the 'Kneipp Cure'. Artwork from the 15th volume (first period of 1895) of the French popular science weekly 'La Science Illustree'.
