Anaesthetic gel. Pack containing Cathejell jelly, a surface anaesthetic gel containing lidocaine (a local anaesthetic). It is used in catheterisation, endoscopic procedures and tracheal intubation (where a tube is inserted into the trachea for artificial ventilation). The gel lubricates passage of the tube or endoscope, and the anaesthetic reduces sensitivity and pain. The gel is delivered in a collapsible accordion-type syringe.
Model release available. Property release not required.
