Leslie George Jenness (1898-1968), US chemical engineer. Jenness obtained his undergraduate science degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1920. He then obtained a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering in 1924 from the University of Maine. He obtained his doctorate in 1930 from Columbia University. By 1956, Jenness was Vice President of research for the Kennecott Copper Corporation, headquartered in New York, USA, with laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah. He retired in 1963.
