Supernova remnant. Composite image showing the remains of supernova W49B. This highly distorted supernova remnant lies around 26,000 light years from Earth and may contain the most recent black hole formed in the Milky Way galaxy. Image combined from X-rays from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory (blue and green), radio data from the NSF's Very Large Array (pink), and infrared data from Caltech's Palomar Observatory (yellow).
