Northwestern Glacier. This tidewater glacier descends from the Harding Icefield into Northwestern Fjord. Named for Northwestern University, it has retreated more than nine kilometres since 1909, when it extended out into the fjord. Photographed in Kenai Fjords National Park, near Seward, Alaska, USA.
