Carina Nebula over ALMA telescope. View of the Great Carina Nebula (NGC 3372) over one of the telescopes from the ALMA (Atacama Large Millimetre/sub-millimetre Array) array in the Atacama Desert, Chile. ALMA is an array of 66 radio antennae located at an elevation of 5000 metres on the arid Chajnantor plateau of the Atacama Desert in the Chilean Andes. Here, the Football Cluster (NGC 3532) can be seen next to the nebula.
