Zircon (zirconium silicate). Crystals of zirconium silicate in their host rock. Zircon (ZrSiO4) is a common semi-precious mineral constituent of most granite and felsic igneous rocks, in which it occurs dissipated, in small size crystals of various colours, including reddish brown as seen here.
