Skylab 4 crew. Mission commander Gerald Carr (born 1932) using his index finger to suspend pilot William Pogue (1930-2014) whilst posing for a photograph in the orbital workshop of NASA's Skylab space station, during the Skylab 4 mission. Skylab was the first space station launched and operated by NASA. It orbited the Earth from 1973 to 1979. Photographed by science pilot Edward Gibson.
