Thermographic footage of a dog nose when breathing. A thermogram shows variation in temperature on the surface of an object, measured by the long-wave infrared radiation it emits. The temperature scale is colour-coded with black being cold, through blue, green and yellow to red being hottest. Here it is revealed that the nose is cold (black), but the exhaled air is warm (blue).
