Plosky Tolbachik erupting. Aerial view of a plume of smoke emitting from the top of the Plosky Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia, during an eruption. This volcano reaches an elevation of 3085 metres. It has erupted many times in history, with a large eruption in 1975. The most recent activity started on 27th November 2012 and ended in 2013.
